Welcome!
I’m an assistant professor of sociology at University of St. Thomas (Houston, TX) housed in the Nesti Center for Faith and Culture. I completed my Ph.D. in sociology at the University of Notre Dame.
I focus on sociological and philosophical approaches to present-day culture, morality, politics, Christianity, and the development of knowledge.
Most of my teaching is in history and philosophy of science, but I’ve also taught sociological theory, statistics, and a graduate seminar on the sociology of American Catholicism.
My research and writing are characterized by an interdisciplinary approach to the religious, moral, and cultural dimensions of the modern world.
